Add yourself as a Consumer
Go to Consumers → Add Consumer.
A consumer is the person whose finances you’re organizing. Add yourself first; add a partner or family member later if you manage multiple people.
Add your income
Go to Income Sources → Add Income.
Include salary, freelance payments, benefits—anything predictable. This powers cash-flow charts and planning.
Add your bills & payments
Go to Bills & Payments → Add Bill.
Enter due dates, amounts, and frequency. The dashboard will total your upcoming dues and visualize what’s next.
Set 2–3 priority goals
Go to Financial Goals → Add Goal.
Examples: Emergency fund, debt payoff, save for a move.
Goals show progress bars and can be edited anytime.
Check your calendar
In the sidebar, open the Calendar widget.
See upcoming bills, key dates, or reminders at a glance.
Try the AI Assistant
Click AI Assistant in the top bar or Quick Actions.
Ask anything: “Help me build a budget with my current bills,” “How do I start a dispute for a late-payment error?” The assistant will reference your dashboard data where helpful.
Filing your first dispute (when needed)
Copiafy includes guided dispute letter templates. To start:
Click File Dispute in Quick Actions.
Use the filters: Dispute Type, Recipient Type, Reason, and Attempt # to locate the best-fit template.
Select a match to open the guided workflow.
Generate your letter and follow the steps to send and track.
Note: If you’re on the Free plan, disputes may be gated until you add a card or upgrade. You’ll see an upgrade banner when limits are reached.
Lists vs. Charts (your view, your choice)
Lists are best for adding/editing items quickly.
Charts help you spot trends and plan ahead.
Use the Charts/Lists toggle in the top bar—or the mobile Welcome card—to switch any time.
Quick Actions you’ll use often
Set New Goal – create milestones and sub-targets.
Add Bill – log a payment with due date and recurrence.
File Dispute – launch the letter finder and start a challenge.
AI Assistant – open the assistant from anywhere.
Plan usage & upgrades
Open Account Usage to see your current plan and item counts (goals, consumers, disputes, etc.). If you hit a limit, the Upgrade Plan banner will appear with options. Upgrading unlocks more items and dispute features.

Clients — organize and track work by client.

Start small: Add one income source, three bills, and two goals today.
Automate progress: Consider automating transfers for goals with deadlines.
Review weekly: Open the Calendar widget and Bills view to prevent surprises.
Use the Assistant: Ask for a personalized plan based on your data.
Keep it tidy: Edit or archive completed goals; mark bills as paid to keep stats clean.
